This petition seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the First Information Report dated 12.3.2025 bearing Case Crime No.0061 of 2025, under Sections 309(4) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, which stands dropped and subsequently added sections 127(7),310(2),317(3) of B.N.S.,2023, Police Station Raniganj, District Pratapgarh. Learned A.G.A. on instructions states that the petitioner has already filed a Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No.2498 of 2025 which was withdrawn after arguing at some length with liberty to take appropriate proceedings before the appropriate Court in accordance with law. In view thereof, learned counsel for petitioner prays to withdraw present writ petition with liberty to take appropriate proceedings before the appropriate Court as permissible under the law.
