The petitioners claim to have a Patta on some abadi land but the land in question is recorded as abadi and some portion is recorded as banjar forest. On account of the latter, the petitioners allege harassment. The only remedy is division of the holding, if it is permissible in law, which will necessarily include demarcation. The petitioners may initiate appropriate proceedings in this regard or raise a grievance before the official opposite parties, as the case may be. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
