Mr. Deepak Sharma, Advocate for the non-applicants/ respondents. The Court stands informed that after acknowledging that the petitioner is entitled to the retiral benefits, except for leave encashment, all other payments have been released. Accordingly, as prayed for, these proceedings are closed, but with the observation that leave encashment be also paid to the applicant/petitioner within a period of three months from today. Learned Counsel for the applicant/petitioner submits that the petitioner is also entitled to the interest on the delayed payment. In the light of adjudication in the writ petition, no such direction can be issued in these proceedings and the petitioner is at liberty to agitate this issue by way of a fresh petition.
