The petitioner is before this Court seeking direction to respondent No.3-Inspector of Police, Srirangapatna, Mandya, to consider her complaint dated 21.09.2024 at Annexure-G and take action accordingly. 3. It is submitted that the petitioner filed the said complaint to respondent No.3-Police invoking Clauses 2(11) and 2(12) of the Circular dated 14.11.2018 bearing No.CRM-3/105/2018 issued by the Home Department, State of Karnataka, seeking Police protection. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:3128 WP No. 1090 of 2025 4. Learned High Court Government Pleader submits that there are several judgments of this Court which clearly hold that the police is not permitted to interfere or take action on such allegation touching upon the rights of the parties in respect of immovable properties. Police protection can be granted only if there is a specific direction given by the Civil Court. 5. Upholding the submissions of the learned High Court Government Pleader, the writ petition stands disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to seek specific directions at the hands of the Civil Court where the suit filed by the petitioner is pending, seeking police protection to implement the interim orders passed by the Civil Court.
