JUSTICE ANAND SHARMA Order 22/05/2025 This contempt petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner against the Presiding Officer of the Rent Tribunal for not deciding the eviction application within a period of one year as directed by this Court vide order dated 17.04.2023 in S.B. We have perused the order dated 17.04.2023 in which this court directed the Rent Tribunal to decide the original application filed by the petitioner preferably within a period of one year. In our considered view, there is no willful deliberate obedience on the part of the Presiding Officer in not deicing the eviction application. [2025:RJ-JP:21636-DB] (2 of 2) [CCP-294/2025] In that view of the matter, no case is made out for issuing contempt notice to the respondent. Hence, this contempt petition is dismissed.
