Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:19498 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 1259 of 2025 Petitioner :- Ganeshi Devi Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Umesh Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. Heard Shri Umesh Singh, learned for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. The petitioner claims entitlement to arrears of salary of 6th and 7th Pay Commission from the Month of August, 2012 to November, 2021 and interest thereon. He has made a representation in this regard but to no avail. The only prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is that her representation may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the matter requires determination of facts by the competent authority as per law in the first instance. However, he fairly contends that service benefits/claim is liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame. In light of the aforesaid submissions and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent authorities are directed to decide the representation of the petitioner for disbursal of arrears of salary of 6th and 7th Pay Commission from the month of August 2012 to November 2021 as per law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of. Order Date :- 11.2.2025 Dhananjai Digitally signed by :- DHANANJAI High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
