PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are arraigned as accused Nos.2 and 3 in Crime No.195 of 2023 on the file of Maddipadu Police Station, Prakasam district, for alleged offences under Sections 376 and 417 of IPC. It is submitted that the police have also 2 issued notice under Section 41-A and that the petitioners have responded to the notices and gave their explanation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the parents of 1st accused and that the 2nd respondent was having relationship with the 1st accused and that the issue pertains to incidents much prior to the date on which the complaint was lodged. It is submitted that the petitioner have no role in so far as the commission of any offence under Sections 376 and 417 of IPC and seven witnesses have been examined and that the investigation is still pending. 4. Considering the same, this Court is not inclined to interfere in this matter at this stage, leaving it open to the petitioners to challenge the charge sheet, if so aggrieved. 5. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 6.
