This is a petition by Gram Pradhan albeit through a private counsel which is impermissible in view of Sections 72 and 73 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. Such a petition can be filed by a Gram Pradhan through a private counsel only after seeking permission from the Collector which has not been taken in this case. The petition is not maintainable in its present form through a private counsel. 4. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed, however, without prejudice to the Gaon Sabha/ Gram Pradhan to initiate proceedings for redressal of the grievance as per law.
