Instant contempt application has been filed alleging non compliance of the judgment and order dated 06.12.2024 passed in Writ-C No. 9906 of 2024, a copy of which is annexure 1 to the contempt application. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant states that although the payment has been made to the applicant yet the interest has not been paid for delayed payment. 4. Perusal of the order passed by the writ Court dated 06.12.2024 would indicate that there is no direction for payment of any interest on delayed payment to the applicant. 5. Considering the aforesaid, no case for contempt is made out. Accordingly, the contempt application is rejected leaving it open to the applicant to pursue other remedies as may be available to him for the purpose of claiming interest as per law.
