This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive relief:- “That writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for promotion from the post of TGT (Non-Medical) to the post of Lecturer (Geography) against the backlog post under general category w.e.f. 22.04.2017 i.e. the date on which the services of similarly situated persons were considered for promotion with all consequential benefits in terms of the judgment passed by this Hon'ble Court in CWP No. 7568/2022, titled as Kuldeep Raj and Anr. Vs. State of HP & Anr. vide judgment dated 23.12.2024 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 (Annexure P-11) by following the ratio of the decisions in Sanjay Kumar's case & Sapna Rani.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 03.02.2025 (Annexure P-10) to respondent No.2/competent authority, however, no concrete action on her representation has been taken till date. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case, respondent No.2/competent authority is directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in a time bound manner. Learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents has no objection to this prayer. Having regard to the above submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from today. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
