The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the prayer to direct the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, District Moradabad to pass appropriate order on the application filed by the petitioner for grant of armed license. 2. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that though the application was filed in this regard on 25.06.2024 and a considerable time has already lapsed but till date no decision has been taken on the same. 3. On the other hand it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that the necessary orders will be passed in the aforesaid application by the respondent no.2 expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 5. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, District Moradabad to pass appropriate orders on the aforesaid application most expeditiously and preferably within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
