PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition, u/Sec.482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.207/2024 of D.Hirehal Police Station, Ananthapuramu District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offence punishable u/Sec.85, 108 r/w 3(5) of B.N.S. 2 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/A2 and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. 4. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, marriage of the deceased was performed with A1 about 6 years ago and they were blessed with a son aged 4 years. The deceased was attending coolie works and getting coolie amount. But A1 to A3 used to harass the deceased by demanding to give coolie amount to them and also for trivial issues and due to their unbearable harassment she committed suicide by hanging. After registering the case, A1 and A3 were arrested on 02.12.2024 and they were sent to remand. 5. Heard. Perused the record. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the crime has been registered u/Secs.85, 108 r/w 3(5) of B.N.S. The petitioner is the mother in law of the deceased and she is suffering from chronic ulcer and she requires dressing on every alternate day and in support of it she filed photos and medical certificate and prays to grant bail to the petitioner. 7. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that investigation in this case is at crucial stage and some more witnesses are to be examined and due to unbearable harassment of the petitioner and A1 and A3, the deceased committed suicide and prays to dismiss the criminal petition. 3 8. After careful observation of the material on record and submissions made on behalf of both sides prima-facie indicates that because of the harassment caused by the petitioner and others, the deceased committed suicide by hanging in her in laws house. As such this Court finds that prima-facie case has been made out against the petitioner. Hence this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 9.
