GP FOR SERVICES I 2 HCGR, J W.P.No.8298 of 2025 The Court made the following order: The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:- “…to issue a Writ or Order or Direction, particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the in action of the 3rd respondent in disposing of the petitioner’s representation dated 17.02.2025, is highly illegal, arbitrary, and unconstitutional, violating Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India. Consequently, direct the 3rd respondent to direct the 4th and 5th respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 17.02.2025 and pass such other order or orders.…” 2. Heard Smt. S. Lakshmi Prameela, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 3, and Sri T. Sri Ram, learned Standing Counsel for APTRANSCO, appearing for respondent Nos.2, 4 and 5. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner belongs to the Scheduled Tribe and holds a degree in Science. He has been employed as a laborer with the office of the Executive Engineer, Kadapa. The petitioner came to know that there is a vacancy in the department due to the retirement of one Mr. Madhusudhan. Consequently, he made a representation dated 27.01.2025 to the 5th respondent, requesting that the vacancy be filled by considering the petitioner’s candidature, taking into account his long-standing eighteen years of service. The petitioner also made similar 3 HCGR, J W.P.No.8298 of 2025 representations dated 10.02.2025 and 17.02.2025, which are stated to be pending. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if a direction is given to the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the aforesaid representations. 5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 3 and Sri T. Sri Ram, learned Standing Counsel for APTRANSCO, appearing for respondent Nso.2, 4 and 5, have expressed no objection to the same. 6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, and with the consent of both learned counsel, at the stage of admission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing respondent Nos.4 and 5 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner’s representations dated 10.02.2025 and 17.02.2025, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
