The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the police in not investigating Crime No.89 of 2025, on the file of Nandigama Police Station and seeks a direction from this Court to respondent No.4 to trace the mobile locations and CCTC footage from the place where the alleged incident occurred, and to place such tracing and CCTV footage on record. 2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the State submits that the petitioner appears to be attempting to issue a manual to be followed by the police for the purpose of investigation. It is submitted that the crime was registered on 02.03.2025 for the alleged offences under Section 85, 109(1), 323(c), 329(4) read with Section 3(5) of the BNS. 3. On the strength of a complaint filed by the wife of Accused No.1, a direction of this nature cannot be issued to the police. It is left open to the police to investigate by taking into consideration all available options. 4. With these observations, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
