The present petition has been filed with the following prayer: "i-Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the the opp. party no.1 to 5 to remove the unauthorised encroachment made by the opposite party no. 6 and 7 on the public utility land/ drain, in the public interest, contained in annexure no.1 to 5, to the PIL, in the interest of justice. ii-Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opp. party no.1 to 3 to provide the police protection for maintain the peace and law and order during removal of illegal encroachment in the interest of justice, contained in annexure no.3 to the PIL. iii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opp. party no.1 to decide the representation dated 03.03.2025 within stipulated time in the interest of justice, contained in annexure no.5 to the PIL." 3. Learned Standing Counsel based upon the instructions states that the proceedings for removal of the unauthorized encroachment has already been initiated. 4. In view of the abovesaid statement, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to conclude the said proceedings within 90 days from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order and in accordance with law.
