Writ Court vide order passed on 28.11.2024, passed in Writ-C No.11320 of 2024, has directed various benefits to be extended to the petitioners within a period of four months. The order of the Court is stated to have been sent by registered speed post on 19.12.2024. This Court does not find any deliberate or intentional act of disobedience on part of the respondents, inasmuch as hardly any time has passed since the service of order upon the opposite party, which may amount to an act of disobedience on part of the respondent. In such circumstances, the contempt petition appears to be premature, at this stage. In the facts of the case, this Court permits the applicant to withdraw the contempt petition with liberty to file afresh, in the event order of the Writ Court is not complied with within a reasonable time.
