This petition has been filed for direction for disposal of Criminal Case No. 641 of 2023, Swati Singh vs. Vishwanath Singh and others, filed by the petitioner on 06.12.222 under Section 12 of Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Perusal of the order sheet, annexed by the petitioners as Annexure No.1, indicates that learned counsel for the petitioners himself is not appearing for pressing his application since 12.08.2024. In view of above, when learned counsel for the petitions himself is not pursuing the case and assisting the court in disposal of the case, they are not entitled for any direction for disposal of case in a time bound manner or expeditiously. Even otherwise, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has held that the constitutional courts should not fix time frame for the disposal of the case, except in exceptional circumstances. The petition is misconceived and is, accordingly, dismissed.
