The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite an order passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court in CRR No. 3776 of 2022 on July 31, 2023 recording certain directions to be complied with by the learned Magistrate, the order has not been complied with. The matter is pending since 2012. In view of the above, the learned Judicial Magistrate, 14th Court, Calcutta is directed to comply with the order passed by this Court earlier in its true letter and spirit and take the proceedings to its logical conclusion within six months from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.
