On being confronted, after taking note of the observations made by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Babu Ram Verma Vs. Sub Divisional Officer and others, 1996 (14) LCD 516, according to which the panel lawyer/State counsel can contest the case on behalf of the the Gaon Sabha, learned counsel for the petitioners says that he may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file fresh petition, as per law. The aforesaid has not been opposed. Taking note of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as prayed for.
