The Petitioner herein is the Appellant in C.A(MD)No.91 of 2024 was convicted and sentenced to undergo two weeks rigorous imprisonment for the offence under Section 341 of IPC and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment for the offence under Section 302 of IPC and fine of Rs.2,000/-, in default to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one month. 2. Heard. 3. This Court, while entertaining the Appeal, also suspended the sentence on the condition that the petitioner should stay in Trichy District and report before the Trichy Cantonment Police Station once a week, i.e., every Saturday at 10.30 a.m. 4. The instant petition is filed seeking relaxation of the said condition, stating that the petitioner hails from Kanyakumari District and for the past five months has scrupulously complying the condition imposed on him by staying at Trichy and complying the condition is very onerous and therefore needs modification.
