The award in favour of the petitioners was rendered by the Employees Compensation Commissioner on 03.12.2024 (Annexure no.1) which according to them has attained finality. Pursuant to the award, a recovery certificate has also came to be issued on 04.01.2025 (Annexure no.3). The Additional District Magistrate has failed to execute the recovery certificate and realize the amount due till date. Accordingly, the Additional District Magistrate, (Land Revenue) Pratapgarh is hereby directed to realize the amount payable to the petitioners within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order and remit the same to the Employees Compensation Commissioner, if there is no legal impediment, so that the same is released in favour of the petitioners at the earliest. This exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed off.
