By way of instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following main reliefs:-
“(i) That writ may kindly be issued to quash the office order dated 20.12.2024 i.e. Annexure P-7 as the same is passed without affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. (ii) That the writ in the nature of Mandamus may kindly be issued for directing the respondent No.2 to decide the appeal i.e. Annexure P-8 filed by the petitioner in a time bound manner.”

Before case at hand, could be heard and decided on its own merits,
learned counsel representing the petitioner, on instructions, states that petitioner would be content and satisfied in case directions are issued to respondent No.2 to decide the appeal (Annexure P-8) in a time bound manner.

While accepting notice on behalf of the respondents, Mr. B.C. Verma, learned Additional Advocate General, fairly states that he is not averse to the aforesaid innocuous prayer made by the petitioner.

Consequently, in view of the above, the present petition is
disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide pending appeal (Annexure P-8), if not already decided, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned while doing the needful in terms of the instant
order shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass speaking order thereupon. All pending applications stand disposed of.
