This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.5 of 2025 of Dumbriguda Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju District.
2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offences punishable under Sections 310(2), 331 (6) of BNS.

The brief facts of the case are that on 08.02.2025 the defacto complainant and his wife were watching TV-5 Channel at their house, wherein some unknown persons were wearing masks, armed with stick and knife, entered into the house, held both hands of the defacto complainant, beat his wife with the grip of knife, threatened at the point of knife and committed theft of gold chain from the neck of his wife and committed house trespass and robbed cash of Rs.30,000/-. Based on the report of the defacto complainant, FIR was registered by Dumbriguda Police Station.
4. Heard. Perused the record.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner/A2 contends that the petitioner is arrested on 09.02.2025 and since he has been languishing in jail and most of the investigation has been completed and prays to allow the petition.
6. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed the bail on the ground that the investigation is not completed and the petitioner is habitual offender and prays to dismiss the criminal petition.
7. Considering the gravity of the nature of the accusation and also considering the submissions made on behalf of the

prosecution that the petitioner is a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to consider the criminal petition at this stage.
8. In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
