In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner and as agreed to by both the counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is being disposed of at the Motion stage itself. At the outset, the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that for redressing the grievances raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition, a representation dated 02-05-2025 had already been submitted to the concerned authorities by the present petitioner and that the said representation is still pending for consideration and disposal by the authorities. The learned senior counsel, accordingly, submitted that the present petitioner will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the Director, RIMS, to consider the said representation on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order within a stipulated period. Taking into consideration the submissions advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this court is of the considered view that interests of justice will be served by disposing of the present writ petition with the following directions:- (i) The Director, RIMS, is hereby directed to consider the aforesaid representation dated 02-05-2025 submitted by the petitioner on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order; and (ii) The whole process should be completed within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
