Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are arraigned as A1 and A2 in Crime No.69 of 2022 of Nagarjuna Sagar Police Station, Palnadu District, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 323, 324, 307, 427, read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3. The learned counsel further submits that the crime was initially registered under Sections 323, 324, and 427 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is further submitted that after a lapse of more than two years, the investigating officer has now altered the section of law to include Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code. 4. The attention of this Court is drawn to the opinion of the medical officer regarding the injuries sustained by the L.W.1, in which the doctor opined that the wounds are simple in nature. 5. Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Station House Officer, Nagarjuna sagar Police Station, Palnadu District, is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.69 of 2022 without taking any coercive steps against the petitioners, subject to the petitioners cooperating with the investigation. This would not preclude the investigation officer to file a charge sheet or final report after the completion of the investigation. 6. With these observations, the criminal petition is disposed off. 7.
