1. Heard Mr. A. Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The present writ petition is filed assailing an order dated 24.06.2024, whereby, the application for No Objection Certificate in respect of sale and purchase of land was rejected on the purported ground of “inadequate materials”.
3. Such order is an appealable order under the Assam Right to Public Services Act, 2012, however, in the present case, the maximum period prescribed for filing of such application has also been expired.
4. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to file a fresh No Objection Certificate before the competent authority by closing this writ petition.
5. Prayer stands allowed.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed with a liberty to file a fresh application for No Objection Certificate before the competent authority. In the event such application is filed, same may be considered and decided within the stipulated period as prescribed under the Assam Right to Public Services Act,
2012.
