Kharsyad, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner places on record a notice dated 03-03-2025 (along with a translated copy thereof) issued by Office of the Village Court, Elaka Jowai and submits that the 2025:MLHC:195 parties herein are notified to appear before the Village Court on 24-03-2025 for further hearing of the Dewani Case No.70/2007. He submits that since the village Court has decided to proceed with the matter, the petitioner does not have any further grievance to be redressed by this Court and prays that the revision application may be closed. Mr. M. L. Nongpiur, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection. In view of the submission made, this revision application stands disposed of. It is expected that the learned Village Court will make an endeavor to dispose of the Dewani Case No. 70/2007 at the earliest.
