The petitioner before this Court is assailing the impugned discharge order dated 03.05.2025 issued by the Bank Authorities. The petitioner was employed as a loan sanctioning officer and was posted in the Neliie Branch of Bandhan Bank Ltd. In view of the allegations made against him for sexual harassment of his domestic help, proceedings were initiated and subsequently, the petitioner was discharged from service. In response to a pointed query by the Court as to whether any remedy by way of Department Appeal is available, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly Page No.# 3/3 submits that a remedy by Departmental Appeal exists and that the petitioner intends to avail the same. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed on withdrawal with liberty to prefer an appeal before the appellate authority.
