Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:17762-DB Court No. - 2 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 2944 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Indra Devi And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Irrigation Deptt. Lko And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Anjani Kumar Srivastava Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Rajan Roy,J. Hon'ble Om Prakash Shukla,J. Heard Shri Anjani Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State. The petitioners say that they do not have access to their plot on account ofa canal constructed by the opposite party near the Highway, therefore, they may be permitted to build a culvert at their own expenses, however, the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has instructions to the effect that there already exists a culvert barely 150 meters away from the plot towards the upstream and towards downstream there is another culvert 100 meters away. In this view of the matter, it would be better if the petitioners approach the opposite party no. 2 raising their grievance who can apprise them about the correct facts in writing, but, if he finds that such permission can be granted the same would be considered as per law. Let this exercise be completed within a period of six weeks. With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is disposed of. . (Om Prakash Shukla,J.) (Rajan Roy,J.)
