The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:- “1. No 33306004190156 dated 01/03/2019 (Annexure- P/8) filed by the Police Station, Mungeli (C.G.) whereby the Petitioner has been accused of offences punishable under Sections 420 & 506 of the Indian Penal, in the interest of justice. 2. To initiate a police enquiry against the complaint and other associated person who are threatening the petitioner and family members of the petitioner’s family. 3. To provide the police protection to the petitioner and family member of the petitioner as their life is in danger. 4. That any other order that this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice be awarded to the applicant.” 2. None appears nor is any representation made on behalf of the petitioner to press this petition, when the matter is called out. 3. It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the matter. 4. As per the office report, notice issued to the private respondent has also been served and no one has appeared on behalf of the respondent to contest the petition. 5. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed on this count alone. 6. Copy of this order shall send to the trial Court for necessary information. 7. Interim relief, if any, stands vacated.
