Petitioner is accused of committing the murder of one Shivalingegowda and his wife - Bharati by assaulting them with an axe. Initially, FIR was registered against four accused. Charge sheet was filed against the petitioner. 3. It is submitted that the trial is at fag end and only three witnesses are left to be examined. Petitioner is in judicial custody since 30.08.2023. Considering the nature and gravity of the offence and that the trial is at - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:3011 CRL.P No. 319 of 2025 fag end, this is not a fit case to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 4. Considering that only three witnesses are to be examined, trial will not take much time to conclude.
