Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd. Vs. Swati Sharma and Ors. CMP No. 11966 of 2025 28.05.2025 Present: Mr. Radhey Shyam Gautam, Advocate, for applicant/respondent No. 1. Mr. Sanjay Bhardwaj, Advocate, for respondent No.2. The instant application has been filed for release of amount in FAO (MVA) No. 442 of 2017, which was decided by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 13.08.2019. The non-applicant/appellant had assailed the judgment dated 13.08.2019, passed in FAO (MVA) No. 442 of 2017 by way of SLP (C) No. 24959 of 2019 before Hon’ble Supreme Court. The said petition has been dismissed by Hon’ble Supreme Court vide judgment dated 16.04.2025. A copy of said judgment has been placed on record by learned counsel for the applicant. The operative portion of the judgment passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court reads as under:- “ We dismiss the Special Leave Petition and direct that the amounts deposited in Court shall be disbursed alongwith interest to the claimants, if not already done and the balance amounts, if any, with interest shall also be paid through RTGS transfer, on the claimants furnishing their account details, within a period of one month from the date of this order.” In view of the specific order passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court, no fresh orders are required to be passed by this Court.
