Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:17427 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 3290 of 2025 Petitioner :- Neelima Nagar Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Chief Secy. Higher Education Lko. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Ripu Daman Shahi,Umesh Chandra Chaturvedi Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Chief Standing counsel for respondents. The petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to pay Rs 9000/- grade pay under carrier advancement scheme to petitioner w.e.f. 02-03-2020 with all the consequential service benefits including arrears of difference of salary and 12% interest w.e.f 02-03-2020 till actual date of payment." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although the petitioner became entitled to a grade pay of Rs. 9000/- under the Career Advancement Scheme (C.A.S.) with effect from 02.03.2020, opposite party no. 1 has not taken any decision on the matter and has yet to decide on the petitioner’s pending representation. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that it would be suffice if respondent no. 1 is directed to take a decision on the petitioner’s pending representation regarding the claim. Learned Additional Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer. Considering the above, it is directed that, in case, the petitioner submits a fresh representation before respondent no. 1 within two weeks from today, the same shall be decided by respondent no. 1 within a further period of four weeks by passing a reasoned and speaking order. With these observations, the petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 26.3.2025/R.C. Digitally signed by :- RAM CHANDER YADAV High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
