Dileep Kumar, learned Counsel for the Respondents. 2 2. The present Contempt Case is filed by complaining of wilful disobedience of the Interim Order passed by this Court dated 05.11.2024 in W.P.No.24399 of 2024. The Interim directions passed by this Court dated 05.11.2024 are as under: “4. Having regard to these aspects, there shall be a direction to the Official Respondents to provide protection to the Writ Petitioner and his property. 5. There shall be a further direction to the Tahsildar, Respondent No.4 to conduct an enquiry to verify the genuineness of the „Land Possession Certificate‟ of the Unofficial Respondent No.5 herein and submit a detailed Report to the Revenue Divisional Officer within a period of two (02) weeks from today. 6. The Writ Petitioner is at liberty to seek Police protection to protect his property and also to ensure that the Unofficial Respondent No.5 does not squat over the road margin.” 3. The present Contempt Case is filed complaining of inaction on the part of the Respondents in providing police protection. Para Nos.6 & 7 in the Affidavit filed in support of this Contempt Case is usefully extracted hereunder: “6. Despite the explicit directions of this Hon'ble Court and the representations made by the Petitioner, the Respondents have failed to act in accordance with, the order and have willfully disobeyed the same. thereby violating the mandate issued by this Hon'ble Court 7. The Respondents inaction constitutes deliberate and intentional disobedience of the order dated 05-11-2024, amounting to contempt of court under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.” 4. Sri T. Sanjeeva Rao, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Sri J. Dileep Kumar, learned Counsel for the Respondents has filed the Counter Affidavit on behalf of Respondent No.4 and submits that the Respondent No.4 has received two Representations dated 13.11.2024 & 14.03.2025 respectively. It is sated in the Counter Affidavit that in response to those Representations, the Tahsildar has addressed letters to the Station House Officer. He has also drawn the attention of this Court to the Proceeding of the Station House Officer addressed to the Petitioner (Page No.22 of the Counter Affidavit) which indicates that the police protection was given to the Petitioner and under the police protection, the Petitioner had participated in the survey 3 that is conducted by the Respondent Authorities and that Respondent Authorities have demarcated the various extents. 5. Having regard to the above facts, this Court is of the view that the police have granted sufficient protection and that the Petitioner has participated in the survey that is conducted by the Respondent Authorities, and therefore, there is no contempt against the Respondents in this Contempt Case. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs. 6.
