By way of filing this petition, a prayer has been made for issuing a direction to the respondent to reinstate the petitioner back in service on the post of Pharmacist. 2. At the outset, counsel for the respondents apprised this Court that during pendency of this petition, the petitioner has got regular appointment on the post of Pharmacist in the year 2016 and thereafter, he himself wrote a letter in his own handwriting on 08.05.2018, that he does not want to pursue the instant petition pending before this Court. Counsel submits that under the changed circumstances, no further cause of action survives with [2025:RJ-JP:10847] (2 of 2) [CW-3121/2011] the petitioner to continue with this petition and the same has become infructuous. 3.
