The petition seeks direction to the opposite parties to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer from District Jhansi to District Bareilly where husband of the petitioner is working on sympathetic grounds. Learned Chief Standing Counsel, on the basis of written instructions, which is taken on record, has submitted that the petitioner can give appropriate application before the Director General of Police (Establishment)/Senior Superintendent of Police Jhansi for redressal of her grievance along with her marriage certificate in terms of the letter dated 6.3.2025 in which guidelines for transfer of police personnel has been mentioned and in case such application is given by the petitioner to the respondent no.2, the same will be considered and decided in accordance with law. In view of the above and with the consent of parties' counsel, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to respondent no.2 strictly in terms of the letter dated 6.3.2025, as mentioned in the written instructions, within two weeks' from today. In case such representation is given, the same shall be considered and decided sympathetically by respondent no.2 within a further period of two weeks'.
