The petitioner is aggrieved by interference of police authorities in the construction work undertaken by him on the existing structure in the form of tin shed. Learned Standing Counsel has instructions to inform the Court that the police have interfered only for maintaining the law and order and the instructions do not speak anything about obstruction in the structure. In view of above, we dispose of the Writ Petition with the observation that if so far as the police authorities are concerned, they shall interfere in the matter only if there is any law and order situation, apprehension of breach of peace, apprehension of commission of crime or the crime has been actually committed or there is any order of the Court to be complied with or if there is any other ground for valid interference but only to that extent. As regards the dispute between the private parties, our order will have no effect on it, specially as some appeal is said to be pending against the mutation order and the other private party has not been arrayed herein.
