This writ petition filed in public interest prays for the relief as under:- a. issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, directing Respondent No.3 to take immediate action on essential grievances submitted by the petitioner on earlier occasions and in this petition. b. issue order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding the opposite party no.3 to decide and pass a speaking order on a representation letter sent by petitioner in a stipulated time without any inordinate delay.(Contained as annexure no.3) Sri Sudeep Seth, learned counsel on the basis of instructions has stated that all the facilities for physically challenged persons are available in the University in question. Insofar as the grievance raised by means of the representation dated 21.02.2025 is concerned, the same shall be dealt with expeditiously in accordance with law. Once the university authorities concede to consider the grievance raised, if any, no useful purpose would be served to keep the present writ petition pending.
