on behalf of the respondents, who are otherwise represented by Mr. B.C.Verma, learned Additional Advocate General. Learned Additional Advocate General fairly states that representation, if not already decided, shall be decided expeditiously. 3. Since, it is quite apparent from the pleadings adduced on record as well as documents annexed therewith, which are otherwise supported by the affidavit, that petitioner has been working as Publicity Assistant in the office of Maintenance Centre Pangi at Killar, District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh for approximately five years, coupled with the fact that there is a provision in the transfer policy for transfer of an employee, who has served in hard area for two winter and three season, to get a posting at once of the stations of his choice, this Court sees no impediment in issuing direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner expeditiously. 4. Consequently, in view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 30.07.2024(Annexure P-2) of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks.
Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful in terms of instant order, shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass detailed speaking order thereupon, taking note of

the transfer policy formulated by Government of Himachal Pradesh, which enables an employee, who has completed normal tenure of posting in hard area to seek posting at one of the stations of his choice. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. p
