Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:27885 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 3192 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Chunni Respondent :- Secretary Bal Vikas Sewa And Pushtahar Lko. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Shradha Mishra,Abhilasha Pandey Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the respondents. Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions submits, that the petitioner is currently over 50 years of age and, therefore, in accordance with the applicable rules governing the appointment of Anganwari Karyakarti, she is not eligible for promotion. It is further submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that the petitioner’s case was considered after the post in question became vacant in the year 2020.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has strongly objected to and disputed the aforesaid submission. However, after arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if the petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation to respondent no. 4, with a direction to decide the same within a specified time frame. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation before respondent no. 4 within two weeks from today. If such a representation is submitted, respondent no. 4
shall consider and decide it within a further period of four weeks by passing a reasoned and speaking order. With these observations, the petition stands disposed of.
