The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "Issue a writ, order or direction in nature of mandamus commanding to the opposite party no. 2 to consider and decide form/application of grant of Arm License in nature of Rifle which is pending since 06-9-2023 before the opposite party no. 2 i.e. the Collector/Ziladhikari District - Pratapgarh." 3. Considering the prayer limited to the issue of mandamus, the writ petition is disposed off directing the opposite party no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 06.09.2023 for grant of arms license expeditiously within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
