This appeal is directed against the order dated 25.03.2025 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Chatra in B.P. No. 98/2025, arising out of Pratappur P.S. Case No. 12/2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that on a raid conducted by the Police, three miscreants including the present appellant were apprehended. So far as the appellant is concerned, two pistols and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant is in custody since 30.01.2025. It has further been submitted that one of the co-accused Guddu Yadav has been granted bail by this Court in Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 559/2025. Regard being had to the above, we while setting aside the order dated 25.03.2025 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Chatra in B.P. No. 98/2025, arising out of Pratappur P.S. Case No. 12/2025, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Chatra in connection with Pratappur P.S.
