Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. 3. The present petition has been filed alleging that on account of death of the husband of the petitioner, who was a Construction Worker and was registered under Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, is entitled for compensation, however, the said compensation has not been paid. 4. It is argued that the Government has issued Government Order dated 01.01.2019 prescribing the manner in which the claim can be filed for grant of compensation, however, despite the petitioner approached the authorities by filing application, the same is yet to be disposed of. 5. In view of the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.3 i.e. Deputy Labour Commissioner, Commissionerate Ayodhya to pass order on the application for grant of compensation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law on merits. 6. It is made clear that the same shall not be dismissed on the ground of limitation.
