By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed the following relief:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties to open the seal cover promotion of the petitioner on the post of Senior Clerk in light of Para- 10 of Government order dated 28.05.1997, contained as Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite party No. 3 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 15.01.2025 contained as Annexure No. 6 to this writ petition within specific time framed by this Hon'ble Court." Learned counsel for the petitioner has made an innocuous request that his pending representation dated 15.01.2025 (Annexure No. 6), preferred to the opposite party no. 3 maybe decided with expedition, strictly in accordance with law. Therefore, without entering into the merits of the issue, I hereby dispose of this petition, finally at the admission stage directing the opposite party no. 3 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 15.01.2025 strictly in accordance with law by speaking and reasoned order with expedition, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the production of certified copy of the order of this Court and decision, thereof be intimated to the petitioner, forthwith.
