Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) When the case was taken up for consideration today, learned Counsel for respondent No. 2 apprised the Court that the provident fund, which is payable to the members of the petitioner- Union, has already been deposited by the said respondent with respondent No. 1. 2. Learned Counsel for respondent No. 1 submitted that in order to ensure that the provident fund is released in favour of persons who actually are entitled to receive the same, let there be a verification of the workmen by the employer and thereafter, needful 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 be done by respondent No. 1. 3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the provident fund is payable to the workmen, whose details are given in Annexure P-1 appended with the petition. 4. Learned Counsel for respondent No. 2 submits that indeed these are the employees who are entitled to the relief and respondent No. 2 ratifies the names and details thereof. 5. Learned Counsel for respondent No. 1 submits that in light of the ratification of the members/employees, now respondent No. 1 will do the needful within six weeks. Statement of learned Counsel for respondent No. 1 is taken on record and these proceedings are closed with direction to respondent to do the needful within six weeks from today.
