The petitioner has challenged an electricity bill on the ground that he had deposited certain amounts under the One Settlement Scheme (O.T.S.), which was accepted. Counsel for the Electricity Corporation says that the same is not reflecting on the portal and that is why the amount deposited under the O.T.S. has not been deducted/adjusted. For this reason, the opposite party No.4 has forwarded the matter to the higher authorities of the Electricity Corporation seeking clarification in the matter. Let the concerned authorities of the M.V.V.N.L. get the facts verified and do the needful as per law but positively within four weeks.
