Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 3. 2. 3. Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of written instructions, submits that the petitioner failed to secure the minimum required 50 percent marks in all four subjects. This is in direct contradiction to the advertisement dated 6.1.2022, Para 4.1 ग, which mandates 50 percent marks in each subject as eligibility criteria. Hence, the petitioner is not found eligible for selection. However these facts have been disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. Perusal of the written instructions and the contents of the sealed envelope, quoted above, it appears that the petitioner scored only 47.44851 marks in subject 'C', which is below the required threshold of 50 percent after normalization. Accordingly, the petitioner could not qualify in subject 'c' due to which he has not been shortlisted for selection. 5. After considering the submissions, examining the record and written instructions, the Court finds that the petition lacks merit. As per the advertisement, the petitioner failed to meet the eligibility criteria, and therefore, has rightly been excluded from the selection process. 6. For the reason aforesaid and the fact that disputed questions of fact cannot be adjudicated in writ jurisdiction, the writ petition being devoid of merit is accordingly dismissed.
