This criminal misc. application is filed under Section 528 of B.N.S.S. by the petitioners/accused for quashing of the charge-sheet dated 17.04.2022, summoning order dated 13.10.2022, as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 6916 of 2022 (Case Crime No. 263 of 2021), pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, District Dehradun under Sections 323, 498-A, 504 & 506 of IPC and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Cantt, District Dehradun qua the petitioners/accused, in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties. 2025:UHC:2225 2 2. In view of the fact that a Compounding Application was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court vide order dated 06.12.2024 had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, District Dehradun in order to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 3. Pursuant to such order, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, District Dehradun has submitted her report dated 13.12.2024 which clearly indicates that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and have also verified the contents of the compromise. 4. In view of the above, Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2024) is allowed. As a consequence thereof, the charge-sheet dated 17.04.2022, summoning order dated 13.10.2022, as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 6916 of 2022 (Case Crime No. 263 of 2021), pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, District Dehradun under Sections 323, 498-A, 504 & 506 of IPC and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Cantt, District Dehradun is hereby quashed qua the 2025:UHC:2225 3 petitioners. 5.
