The present I.A is filed for impleadment of State of Assam, represented by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Home & Political Department, Dispur, Ghy – 06, The Superintendent of Police, Dhubri, Assam, & The Officer-in- Charge, Dhubri Police Station (Sadar), P.O & Dist-Dhubri, Assam, in the backdrop facts that an FIR was filed before the Officer-in- Charge, Dhubri Police Station on 01.03.2021 alleging that some tainted money has been deposited in the Bank account of the applicant/petitioner and the account of the applicant/petitioner has in the meantime been debit freezed by the Bank for such action. 3. Considered the submissions and also perused the pleadings made in the petition. 4. In the considered opinion of this court, the Commissioner & Secretary, Home & Political Department would not be a necessary party in the connected writ petition, however, the Superintendent of Police, Dhubri, Assam and the Officer in Charge, Dhubri Police Station (sadar) are necessary for verification of the claim of the applicant/petitioner. 5. Accordingly, the Superintendent of Police, Dhubri, Assam and the Officer in Charge, Dhubri Police Station (sadar), P.O & Dist – Dhubri, Assam, Pin-783301 be impleaded as respondent Nos.7 & 8. 6. The Registry is directed to make necessary corrections in the records and list the main writ petition in due course. 7. The applicants/petitioners to furnish an amended cause Page No.# 4/4 title to the Registry in terms of the extent norms within a period of 5 days.
