The petitioner alleges interference by the private opposite parties in exercise of his fisheries rights based on the patta granted to him as claimed by the opposite party No.3, for ten years. The petitioner should approach the opposite party No.3, who shall get the facts verified as to whether any interference is being made by the private opposite parties, if so, what is the basis of their claim. If he finds that they have no claim whatsoever and are strangers to the pond or land but are interfering in the exercise of such rights, he shall take measures to protect the rights of the petitioner with the help of police, however, if he finds that there is some genuine dispute as to title or possession, then the parties will have to seek other remedies as prescribed in law.
